The War That Changed Rondo / Romana Romanyshyn and Andriy Lesiv

Friends Danko, Zirka and Fabian live in the small, peaceful town of Rondo. Everything is fine, until the fateful day when the War comes. They try to talk to the War and fight it, but nothing seems to be able to stop it from destroying everything around it. But when all the citizens come together to unite their good powers, they begin to see hope. The War That Changed ondo tells something about the pain that people can experience during and after a war. But perhaps most importantly, it conveys hope for the peace that will come after the war. The book is intended as a tribute to peace, resistance and hope. It was created by Romana Romanyshyn and Andriy Lesiv from Ukraine, as a reaction to the war in their home country in 2014. The proceeds from the sale of this book go to the Norwegian Refugee Council's work in Ukraine and for Ukrainian refugees.
